Infant Care
Mesquite Infant Care
The Mesquite Infant Care is a facility designed and operated with the primary purpose of providing an educational opportunity to young parents.
The program is to assist them in earning and obtaining their high school diploma, while also providing them with the training necessary to set and obtain goals for their future and the future of their child.
Students enrolled into this program must adhere to and meet the same requirements for graduation as any other accredited high school program in the State of California.

Students without children may select work experience in the facility as an elective class, providing them with practical experience and interaction with small children, as well as the opportunity to develop parenting skills.

Infant care also provides developmental programs for the infants and toddlers in their care, designed around the individual needs and requirements of the child. As needs are identified, individual programs are established for each child, with further intervention provided by the Sierra Sands Pupil Support Services, if needed.
